The city of Zaghouan, where the longest aqueducts of Roman antiquity in the world begin (136 km), is preparing for its 38th Nesri (rosehip) flower festival, with a rich and varied program for this 2024 edition.

Diverse cultural, artistic and sporting shows, highlighting Zaghouan and its rich cultural heritage will be at the heart of this new edition, in breathtaking green and mountainous landscapes. The festival will also aim to support sustainable development dynamics in the region by encouraging culinary tourism and promote local identity and culture as part of the “Zaghouan, a booming city” initiative. In this context, a culinary day will be organized, with "cooking shows" provided by renowned chefs, as well as the presentation of traditional dishes from Zaghouan, accompanied by tasting sessions and training workshops for innovative recipes based on local cultures.

Theater and cinema will also be present with the Nostalgica evening. Likewise, sporting activities will occupy an important place in the festival programming, with various sporting tournaments and musical shows, such as the “Stars of Zaghouan” evening at the Roman water temple. Also on the program, Zaghouan Mountain Day with a camping evening in this place rich in history. A "road show" will be on the program, offering visitors an opportunity to discover a city with Roman and Andalusian origins, which preserves its rich heritage.

The festival aims to support the diversification of the Tunisian tourism offer through the development of sustainable tourism, support for the craft and design sector and the promotion of cultural heritage.
