The 2nd edition of the international exhibition for the agri-food industry in Africa “IFSA Africa 2024” will be enriched this year by the participation of the Tunisian Federation of Tourist Restaurants (FTRT) which will present two international culinary initiatives at the exhibition center of Kram (Tunis).
On the one hand, the Festival of International Culinary Heritage Days will inaugurate its first edition, promising a taste journey around the world to highlight the richness and diversity of Tunisian and international cuisine. This initiative also aims to promote exchanges and partnerships between professionals in the agri-food industry.
On the other hand, the First International Chefs Competition will provide a platform conducive to exchange and collaboration between culinary talents from around the world. The event will also promote the image of Tunisia and give participating foreign countries the opportunity to promote their culinary heritage.

The essential objective of these initiatives is to create a tourist dynamic throughout the year, promote Tunisian culinary tourism and develop exports of local agri-food products,
The 2nd edition of IFSA Africa will also be marked by four new international events and competitions; These are the “Carthage International Oil Competitions Pavilion” which will be a showcase where producers will present the best olive oils from their countries, the “Young Talents” competition, the “Seniors” competition which will highlight on this occasion the Thibar meat, a breed of beef unique to Tunisia, “Suchi Cup” and finally “Pâtisserie”.
